A foodnik is defined as "someone for whom food and eating are main joys of living". Is this you? Then you’re in the right place. We are a new gourmet food destination located in a time-honored space that
has been serving Marin county and beyond since 1980. In extending the tradition, we are committed to providing delicious food and great service to our many loyal customers and foodniks newcomers.

At foodniks, we use the freshest local ingredients whenever possible, reflecting seasonality and organic sensibilities. We strive to provide a wide array of choices in order to make every palate happy. Our menus feature traditional favorites as well as fresh daily selections. In addition to specialty sandwiches and soups, we offer a wide array of enticing hors d’oeuvres, appetizers, party platters, salads, sides and entrées for pick-up or delivery. We also keep a large selection of fresh-frozen entrées, casseroles and hors d’oeuvres for you to take home, ready to bake and serve.

Our shop also features many specialty foods, local products, hard to find condiments and gourmet baking mixes. If you give us a little notice, we can happily fill gift baskets or gourmet picnic baskets (for 2 or 4) with a delectable selection of our fresh foods and specialty goods.
